Busy busy busy!

The last few days have been insanely busy.  Tuesday we went out to dinner at the British Beer Company with some friends from work and then yesterday we went to look at potentially adopting a cat. I automatically fell in love with one named Aurora, who spent the entire time chasing a moth around, but she was affectionate too and I really liked her. We also loved another orange tiger cat (can't remember the name), but I think we're both leaning toward Aurora.  I'm stuck though, I want a cat, but, I also don't want our furniture to get ruined, or to have expensive vet/food/litter bills. We'd like a dog, but since we don't have a yard right now and an 800 square foot apartment I don't think it'd be fair to the dog. Thoughts anyone?

We also found another Realtor and broker  who were recommended to us by our friends Katie and Dan  who specializes in the area that we're hoping to buy in so I've started some conversations with them and we're continuing on with the home buying process. We found some properties in Millis and Wrentham for very decent prices that do not need much work so now we know that what we want is out there and is affordable and that we don't have to settle so that is definitely comforting. Our ideal house is something like, well, basically the same as, our friends Casey and Chuck. They have a beautiful, modern, new home that is just our style. And of course, our apartment complex is trying to raise our rent, so that's a bit aggravating. I'll be happy when there are no more leases!

Valentine's Day was great - Josh gave me amazingly delicious chocolates, and a bouquet of flowers! A girl that I work with, Amy, also gave me chocolate covered strawberries and tulips for helping her out lately since she's new here, so that made me feel good. I'm heading up to Chelmsford this weekend to see Mango (my best friend) whom I haven't seen in far too long so I'm excited for that! Other than that, enjoying the long weekend, getting some much needed sleep, and possibly welcoming a new member into the Gaskell household!
