Jess, The Bargain Hunter

If you know me well enough, you know that one of my favorite things to do is to find a good bargain. If you ask Josh, he'll tell you that I've found one too many, but I very rarely pay full price for anything. Case in point, this blanket:

How much did I pay for this? $3, and that includes shipping. It's not huge, but it's definitely Jess-size and it's a pretty nice quality. Original price: $39.

Then, yesterday I found this. AT&T is giving 1,000 free rollover minutes to all of their users, and it has been verified by AT&T that this is real. I think it's because Verizon now has the iPhone so they are trying to compete. Either way, it's awesome.

I also love free stuff. I've gotten bottles of shampoo, mascara,  and more frequently, groceries, for free. There are a ton of free stuff and deal websites out there, but there are a few that I really like. Some of them can get repetitive, but a lot of times I find unique deals.

Now, I have to give credit for a few of these to Paul, my sister-in-law's boyfriend. I found out he was a coupon guru at Christmas-time and he even gave me a really nice candle that he had gotten for free using his coupon skills. I was definitely impressed. Some of them list the deals for Shaws/Stop&Shop/CVS, etc. and I definitely don't have the energy to read those, so I keep my eyes out for grocery store coupons, clearance alerts with extra coupons, and free stuff alerts. Here are some of my favorites:

Try these out for a few days and let me know what you think!

  1. Oh my god! We're out every other day grabbing something that we "need" because Paul has found coupons and deals. You know what the big crisis of last week was? When he ordered his extra coupon inserts, he realized he had skipped a week. Oh no!
But on the bright side, he paid $3 dollars for a $54 order at Rite Aid today!
