Well, if you didn't guess by the title of this post, I can safely say that the flu has wreaked havoc on the Gaskell household. It all started with Josh's cough, then came the body aches, fever, and all the other fun stuff that comes along with the flu. At one point, Josh's temperature was up to 102.8. I think I've only seen him this since once in the 9 years we've been together. Of course, there was no way I could escape it, so here I am home from work with my own temperature and the chills. I think we will feel better in a few days, and there are worse things in life!
On a happy note, we finally have a working DVR. I had to unleash my wrath of anger on Comcast a few times, but everything finally works as it should! I've already DVR'd Teen Mom and The Bachelor - no shame there! More Josh-approved, normal selections include Modern Family, The Office, and 30 Rock!
The flu derailed our house hunting plans for the week so we'll meet with the Realtor sometime next week. We've been searching Realtor.com and some other websites and right now the Wrentham area looks pretty promising. We're still going to try to adopt our new cat this week if all goes well so I'll post pictures when we bring her home!
Finally, check out the new collage at the top of the blog, I love it! A special thanks to the beautiful and oh so talented Casey for that!
